Since it’s the season of fresh cranberries and strawberries, let’s kick 2019 toxins off by taking a few bags of these to store in your freezer. Besides, berries are good for your heart and are more beneficial than taking concentrated berry supplements. These are also natural antioxidants and are excellent for digestion. I’m sure, this smoothie will also get your blender moving day after day!
Beet, Strawberry, Cranberry Healing Smoothie
- ¾ cup (180 ml) cranberry juice
- ¼ cup (25 g) frozen cranberries - 1 beet, quartered, steamed
- ⅓ cup (50 g) frozen strawberries - 2 teaspoons honey
- ⅔ cup (85 g) ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
- Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.
You may also want to add a banana for extra creaminess and balance to its soothing taste.

Hot Turmeric Drink with Lemon and Pepper
Ingredients:
(all may be adjusted according to your preference and number of persons to drink)
1 cup water (good for a single person)
1/2 lemon extract (1-2 tablespoons fresh juice)
1 tablespoon organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar (optional)
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or honey (optional)
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
1 pinch cayenne pepper.
Just add all these ingredients in a saucepan or a stockpot and bring it to a boil.
